The Lawcodes database, maintained by the Judicial Commission of New South Wales, provides unique codes based on legislation for all New South Wales offences and Commonwealth offences dealt with in New South Wales. The provision and use of these codes enables New South Wales justice sector agencies to exchange information and improve the integrity of information about offences.
While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information contained in the Lawcodes database, the Commission does not warrant nor guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or currency of the information. Users are strongly encouraged to independently verify the accuracy, currency and applicability of the information to their specific circumstances before relying on it.
